Please help us help them
Dear Friends,

Its hard to believe that ten years have passed since the cowardly terrorist attack on the World Trade Center took Wendy and so many other innocent Americans from us. In the time that has elapsed, we have tried very sincerely to honor Wendy through this little charitable foundation we started on 9/16/01 in her memory.

The passage of time inevitable diminishes the memories and passions of everyone not personally or directly impacted by the horrific events of that day. This is natural and inevitable. Unfortunately that translates into fewer donations coming into Wendy's Foundation - donations that allow us to continue doing the good and meaningful work we have been trying to do these 10 years.

In the past I told you of our partnership with Mercy and Grace Trust, a fine organization we had already been assisting for years. This new partnership was one where the WFMCF would endeavor to assume total financial responsibility for all of the educational expenses of the scores of orphaned and poor children in their care.

This is an enormous expenses for our tiny foundation. We supplied all of the uniforms and supplies, books and learning materials plus the salaries to employ both teaching staff and non-teaching assistants necessary to provide a quality education for these sweet and very needy children. The Wendy Foundation successfully carried the total financial load for all of this for the entire 2008-2009 school year.

We continue our commitment to helping this fine organization and these sweet and needy children. At this moment, Mercy and Grace much needs a new 600' deep water well drilled which costs around $7000. We are trying hard to help meet this immediate need and your donations will be used for that purpose.

As the years pass, fewer people remember the events of 9/11/01 and as a direct result, donations to groups like this one decrease over time. If the Lord moves you to support our efforts with a financial donation, please remember that the WFMCF never uses any of your donations for salaries, fundraising or administration expenses. Every dollar goes to work helping poor and orphaned children.

Plus we are an Internal Revenue Service approved 501c3 non-for-profit charity which means your generous donations are fully tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

Please consider helping us keep helping these great children plus honoring the memory of a truly generous, amazing and lovely woman.

God bless and thank you for visiting our site!
